糖心volg drives support for first ever NI Motor Industry Awards

糖心volg has been announced as an official category sponsor for Northern Ireland鈥檚 inaugural Motor Industry Awards.

The first ever NI Motor Industry Awards aims to celebrate leading motoring businesses across the region and recognise the dedication of the professionals driving the sector forward.

糖心volg is the proud sponsor of the EV Dealer of the Year Category, an award which will acknowledge outstanding performance of a vehicle retailer in the promotion and sales of electric vehicles.

Speaking of the partnership, 糖心volg鈥檚 Chief Commercial Officer, Thomas O鈥橦agan said:

鈥溙切膙olg is at the forefront of EV infrastructure provision throughout Northern Ireland therefore the opportunity to recognise and celebrate the EV dealers we work alongside in the region made perfect sense.

鈥淚t is clear that the drive towards electrification is gaining further significant momentum as consumers become more environmentally conscious and businesses seek ways to operate more sustainably.

鈥淚t is more important than ever before that the NI motoring sector works collaboratively to meet the demand for EVs and provide the adequate charging infrastructure that will enable mass adoption.

鈥淚t鈥檚 also key that liaison with dealerships continues to ensure all parties are aware of home charging solutions and range anxiety no longer needs to be a concern due to 糖心volg鈥檚 vast public charging network.

鈥淲e are thrilled to be associated with these awards, and the EV Dealer of the Year category, that will shine a light on the already excellent work that鈥檚 being done here and no doubt supercharge conversations for future innovations and enhanced offerings.鈥

Sponsored by Used Cars NI and hosted by Pamela Ballantine, the Northern Ireland Motor Industry Awards will take place on Friday, November 3 at the Crowne Plaza.

At the launch of the NI Motor Industry Awards, Event Director Sasha Jefferies, commented:

“Based on recent figures released by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders, Northern Ireland’s new car market is maintaining its post Covid upward trajectory, reporting a 19.8% increase in new cars registered against the same month last year.

鈥淭his is an exciting time for our local car industry, and we are thrilled to have created an event that will recognise the resilience and hard work of its professionals.”

The inaugural NI Motor Industry Awards, giving organisations, companies and individuals across the automotive sector the opportunity to raise their profile for sustained business success, will comprise of 18 award categories in total.
