These terms and conditions govern the use of the 糖心volg website and services. Ensure you understand your rights when interacting with our platform.

Terms and Conditions for the use of the 糖心volg services 

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY

  1. ABOUT THESE TERMS & CONDITIONS
  2. These Terms & Conditions (the 鈥Terms鈥) govern the use of any electric vehicle charging stations (each a 鈥Charging Station鈥) operated by 糖心volg.ie Ltd (in the United Kingdom) and 糖心volg Charging Limited (in the Republic of Ireland) (the 鈥Charging Network鈥), which may be accessed via the 糖心volg App (the 鈥App鈥) or the 糖心volg website at www.weev.ie (the 鈥Website鈥), or on a 鈥減ay-as-you-use basis鈥, together (the 鈥Services鈥).
  3. Any reference to 鈥溙切膙olg鈥 in these Terms shall also be interpreted to include reference to 糖心volg鈥檚 business partners that are authorised to operate any parts of the Services on behalf of 糖心volg (including but not limited to billing service providers and customer service providers). Any reference to the Services shall also be deemed to include services provided in collaboration with authorised third-party mobility companies that facilitate roaming arrangements. 
  4. These Terms apply to both:

i)               Customers who have registered for a 糖心volg account via the App or the Website (a 鈥糖心volg Account鈥) and who pay for the use of the Services via that 糖心volg Account (each a 鈥糖心volg Member鈥); and

ii)              Customers who access and use the Services on a 鈥減ay-as-you-use鈥 basis (Tap-and-go Customers)

  1. These Terms apply to the Services and all actions forming part of the Services, including, without limitation, the ordering of charging cards and the initiation of charging sessions.  By:

i)                     registering for a 糖心volg account

ii)                   accepting these Terms; and/or

iii)                 by using the Services or any part of the Charging Network,

you are entering into a legally binding contract with 糖心volg (the 鈥Contract鈥) which incorporates these Terms.   If you are a Tap-and-go Customer, each time you use the Services you are entering into a new Contract with 糖心volg which incorporates these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not register for a 糖心volg Account or use the Services or any Charging Station.

  1. To register for a 糖心volg account, you will be required to provide your email address and a chosen password. You must take due care to protect this password against misuse by others and promptly notify 糖心volg about any suspected misuse. You are responsible for keeping the password secure.
  2. USING THE SERVICES
  3. You shall use the Charging Station correctly and in accordance with the provided instructions.  

b.      糖心volg may offer the ordering of a charging card for use within the 糖心volg Charging Network (A 鈥Charging Card鈥) via the App or via the Website.  The price for the Charging Card and associated payment formalities and delivery times will be as shown on the App / Website.

  1. Subject to availability of the Services, you can start the charging process at a Charging Station by using the App or a Charging Card, contactless payment, or by scanning a QR code available at the Charging Station (if available).
  2. You shall not use any Charging Station that shows any error message, which has any visible defect or damage, or which is not shown on the App as being available for use.
  3. It is your responsibility to ensure that the vehicle to be charged at a Charging Station, as well as any accessories or tools provided by you (such as power converters, adapters, or cables), are:

i)                     compatible and suitable for use with the Charging Station,

ii)                    fit for their purpose; and

iii)                  used in accordance with applicable law.

糖心volg shall have no liability for any loss or damage to any vehicle, accessory or tool which arises as a result of you having failed to so comply.

f.        Charging stations must be used to charge electric vehicles only and for no other purpose whatsoever.  糖心volg reserves the right to refuse access to the 糖心volg Charging Network to any person who, at 糖心volg鈥檚 discretion, has or may use a Charging Station in a manner which it deems to be abusive, illegal, fraudulent or a nuisance.

g.       You shall not interfere or tamper with any Charging Station.

  1. Charging Stations may be located within carparks, land, or property (each a 鈥淧arking Location鈥) which are owned or operated by a third party. Therefore, in addition to these Terms, you may also be subject to the specific terms and conditions for parking which apply at the Parking Location, including the requirement to pay a separate parking charge whilst using any Charging Station.  Unless otherwise stated on the relevant Charging Station, our Charges (as defined below) do not include any parking charges which may apply at the Parking Location.
  2. You are responsible for familiarising yourself, and complying, with any specific terms and conditions for parking which apply at the Parking Location and 糖心volg, shall have no liability to you in respect of your use of the Parking Location.
  3. If there is a problem with any aspect of the Services, please contact us and tell us as soon as possible and allow us a reasonable opportunity to repair the problem.

  5. CHARGES AND PAYMENT
  6. Our charges for the use of the Charging Station (our 鈥Charges鈥) are inclusive of VAT and are indicated on the Charging Station, on our App, or on the Website. Charges are exclusive of any parking charges which are imposed by the owner or operator of the Parking Location.
  7. 糖心volg Members are entitled to different charging rates; therefore, different Charges may apply for 糖心volg Members than for Tap-and-go Customers.
  8. Charges will be displayed as fees per kWh of consumed energy. Overstay fees may also be payable and will be displayed on the website /our-network/driver-resources/our-tariffs.
  9. The payment function of the App, as well as any Charging Card, shall each operate only within the 糖心volg Charging Network and that of any roaming partner.
  10. Services may be used on a Pre-Pay or Tap-and-Go basis as follows:

i)                     糖心volg Members will be asked to register a payment card on their 糖心volg Account for payment of the Charges. All major debit and credit cards may be registered. It is the responsibility of the 糖心volg Member to ensure that any payment card which is registered for use is valid, has a sufficient credit balance and is not blocked.  糖心volg reserves the right to suspend or withdraw access to the Services if payment of the relevant Charges using the registered payment card is unsuccessful.  In such circumstances 糖心volg has the right to seek payment of the Charges from the 糖心volg Member by other means.

ii)                   Tap-and-go Customers will be required to pre-authorise a maximum pre-authorisation payment as set out on the pricing page available on the 糖心volg website /our-network/driver-resources/our-tariffs, with the difference in the Charges actually incurred and the pre-authorisation payment returned to the relevant Tap-and-Go Customer within 24 hours of their use of the Services. 糖心volg reserves the right to suspend or withdraw the Services if authorisation is not provided on request.

  1. If you are a commercial or business customer, separate payment terms may apply.
  2. SERVICE AVAILABILITY
  3. 糖心volg will make every effort to make the Services available.  However, there may be occasions they are unavailable or subject to delay.  糖心volg will act with reasonable care in compiling and showing information regarding the availability of Charging Stations on the App and/or the Website.  However, we do not guarantee that the information contained on the App and/or Website relating to the Charging Network is correct or up to date.
  4. 糖心volg are not responsible for unavailability of the Services or delays outside of 糖心volg鈥檚 control. Such an event outside of 糖心volg鈥檚 control might include strike action, change in law, war, sabotage, failure or delay in delivery, irregularities in the supply of electricity, telephone connections or other traffic and communications connections and transportation, strike, boycott, pandemic, epidemic or other similar circumstances beyond the control of 糖心volg.  If the supply of the Services is delayed or if the Services are unavailable due to an event outside of 糖心volg鈥檚 control, then 糖心volg will take steps to minimise the effect of the delay or lack of availability.  Provided 糖心volg does this, we will not be liable for delays caused by the event.
  5. SUSPENSION OF SERVICES
  6. 糖心volg may suspend the provision of all or part of the Services to:

i)                     deal with technical problems or make minor technical changes including safety related issues;

ii)                   update the Services to reflect changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements;

iii)                 make changes to the Services as requested by you or notified by us to you;

iv)                 carry out improvement works in relation to the Services; or

v)                   where we have otherwise reserved the right to do so in accordance with these Terms.

  1. We will notify you in advance, via the App, the Website or the 糖心volg social media channels,  to tell you about any suspension of the Services unless the problem is urgent or an emergency.  
  2. We may also suspend provision of the Services to you with immediate effect if you do not pay the Charges or any part of them when you are supposed to.   We will not charge you for the Services during any period of suspension.
  3. LOSS OR THEFT OF CHARGING CARD OR UNAUTHORISED ACCOUNT ACCESS.
  4. You must notify 糖心volg immediately by submitting a form on our website (/get-in-touch), by emailing us at hello@weev.ie or support@weev.ie or contacting us via our 24/7 support line in UK 0800 0773 098 or ROI +353 01 968 2222 if you believe that your 糖心volg Account or the Charging Card has been used by an unauthorized person or in an unauthorized manner.
  5. You must notify 糖心volg immediately by submitting a form on our website (/get-in-touch), by emailing us at hello@weev.ie or support@weev.ie or contacting us via our 24/7 support line in UK 0800 0773 098 or ROI +353 01 968 2222  in the event of the loss or theft of your Charging Card or any mobile phone on which the App has been installed.  Failure to do so may mean that you remain liable to us for any Charges incurred for Services accessed using the relevant Charging Card or App.
  6. Upon receipt by 糖心volg of notification that any Charging Card has been lost or stolen, 糖心volg will block the Charging Card.  It is not possible to reactivate a blocked Charging Card, therefore, you will be required to order a new Charging Card, even if the original Charging Card is subsequently found.
  7. OUR LIABILITY TO YOU
  8. 糖心volg will provide the Services to you with reasonable care and skill. 
  9. If any part of the Services are not carried out with reasonable care and skill, you can ask us to repeat the relevant part of the Services or to fix it or to refund you for the relevant part of the Services.
  10. If there is a problem with the Services, please contact us as soon as possible by submitting a form on our website (/get-in-touch), by emailing us at hello@weev.ie or support@weev.ie or by contacting us via our 24/7 support line in UK 0800 0773 098 or ROI +353 01 968 2222.
  11. 糖心volg are responsible for losses you suffer caused by us breaking the Contract unless the loss is:

i)                     Unforeseeable: loss or damage is foreseeable if either it is obvious that it will happen or if, at the time the Contract was made, both 糖心volg and you knew it might happen.

ii)                   Caused by a delaying event outside our control: if we have taken the steps set out in the section 4 (b), 糖心volg shall not be responsible for delays outside our control.

iii)                 Avoidable: something you could have avoided by taking reasonable action, including following our reasonable instructions for use.

iv)                 A business loss: if you use the Services for any commercial, business or trade purpose 糖心volg shall have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.

  1. If you are a consumer, you have legal rights in relation to Services not carried out with reasonable skill and care. Nothing in these terms will affect these legal rights.

f.        Except as set out in this section 7, 糖心volg gives no warranties and makes no representations in relation to the Services, and all warranties and conditions whether express or implied by statute, common law or otherwise are excluded to the extent permitted by law.

  1. YOUR RIGHTS TO CANCEL YOUR WEEV ACCOUNT  
  2. You may cancel your 糖心volg Account at any time on the Website, via the App or by contacting support@weev.ie .  On receipt of your cancellation request, 糖心volg will process your request and bill you for any outstanding sums due.
  3.  Please note - If you have a Charging Card which is linked to your 糖心volg Account, then this may continue to function whilst 糖心volg processes the cancellation request. If you continue to use your Charging Card after deletion of your 糖心volg Account, you will remain liable to 糖心volg for any Charges you incur in relation to such use.
  4. Upon cancellation of your 糖心volg Account, you may continue to use and access the Services as a Tap-and-go Customer. However, you will no longer have access to any preferential charging rates which apply to 糖心volg Members therefore, the Charges which you pay may be higher.
  5. On cancellation of your 糖心volg Account, your data will be deleted in accordance with our data retention policy.  However, please note that we may be required to retain some of your information to comply with applicable law.  Please refer to our Privacy Notice for further information.
  6. OUR RIGHTS TO CANCEL YOUR WEEV ACCOUNT / RESTRICT ACCESS TO THE SERVICES
  7. If you act in breach of these Terms, 糖心volg may provide you with a notification of such breach.  If, after receipt of such notification of breach, you continue to breach these Terms, 糖心volg may terminate your 糖心volg Account and/or restrict access to the Services. 糖心volg may also bring a claim against you for any compensation that may be due to 糖心volg because of your breach of the Terms.
  8. Termination of the 糖心volg Account and/or restriction of your access to the Services does not affect any existing claims or events giving rise to a claim with respect to the Service that have commenced or occurred prior to such termination.
  9. CHANGES TO THE SERVICES OR THESE TERMS
  10. From time to time, 糖心volg may make changes to the Services or these Terms (including updating the App or the Website) to:

i)          reflect changes in law;

ii)         make minor technical adjustments and improvements e.g. to improve performance, enhance functionality, reflect changes to any operating system or address any security issues.

In such circumstances, 糖心volg may ask you to update the App.  If you choose not to install such updates to the App or if you opt out of automatic updates, you may not be able to continue using the App and/or the Services.

  1. Where we intend to make any other, more significant changes to the Services or these Terms then we will notify you in advance and, in the case of 糖心volg Members, give you the opportunity to cancel your 糖心volg Account before the changes come in effect. In such circumstances, we will refund to you any sums you have paid in advance for the Services.  
  2. HOW WE MAY USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

a.         糖心volg will use the personal information you provide to us, including any data which is generated from the use of the Services, in accordance with and for the reasons set out in our Privacy Policy /privacy-policy . It is important that you read this information.

b.      Any usage data or other information which may generated from the use of the Services, including the Charging Stations, shall at all times be the property of 糖心volg.

  1. GENERAL TERMS
  2. You are not allowed to transfer your rights under these Terms to anyone without our prior written consent. 糖心volg may transfer its rights under these Terms to another business without your consent, but we will notify you of the transfer and make sure that your rights are not adversely affected as a result.
  3. If any provision of these Terms (or part of any provision) is or becomes illegal, invalid, or unenforceable, the legality, validity, and enforceability of any other provision of these Terms will not be affected.
  4. If you breach these Terms and 糖心volg takes no action, 糖心volg will still be entitled to use its rights and remedies in any other situation where you breach these Terms.
  5. If you are a business customer, any variation to these terms will not be binding unless expressly agreed in writing by 糖心volg.
  6. All intellectual property rights in the Service (including the App and/or website) throughout the world belong to us (or our licensors) and are licensed (not sold) to you. You have no intellectual property rights in, or to, the Service, or any other Intellectual Property Rights owned by 糖心volg, other than the right to use them in accordance with these Terms.
  7. Promotional rates for the Service may from time to time be displayed on the App and/or website. All promotions are subject to change and can be withdrawn/amended at any time.

g.       If you are a business customer, you and 糖心volg both agree that these Terms, along with the terms of any business agreement between you and 糖心volg, shall constitute the entire agreement between you and 糖心volg in relation to your use of the Services. You acknowledge that you have not entered into these Terms in reliance on any representation or warranty that is not expressly set out in these Terms and that you will have no claim for innocent or negligent misrepresentation because of any statement in these Terms.

  1. DISPUTES

a.      Our Customer Service Team: Get in touch by submitting a form on our website (/get-in-touch), by emailing us at support@weev.ie or contacting us via our 24/7 support line in UK 0800 0773 098 or ROI +353 01 968 will do their best to resolve any problems you may have.

b.      If you are a consumer, the laws of Northern Ireland apply to these Terms. Any disputes will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Northern Ireland. This means that you can choose whether to bring a claim in the courts of Northern Ireland or in the courts of another part of the UK or republic of Ireland in which you live.

c.      If you are a business customer, these Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of, or in connection with them, their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) will be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of Northern Ireland. You and 糖心volg both irrevocably agree that the courts of Northern Ireland will have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of, or in connection with, these Terms, their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims).

Terms & Conditions
The promotion runs from 00.00 18th September 24 - 11.59 until we decide to end the promotion. 

Exclusively for My 糖心volg App customers. From 6pm - 8am, Normal over stay fees remain between 6pm - 10pm & 6am - 8am  (Max stay 4 hours) 

Only available on 糖心volg branded chargers and at participating locations only. 
Please use the My 糖心volg App to check charger promotion participation before starting your charging session.
Overstay Fee
To ensure everyone gets a chance to access this great promotion a 拢5 / 鈧5 overstay fee will occur after 4 hours and 拢5 / 鈧5 for each hour thereafter. 

Promotion hours are 6pm - 8am.
All promotions are subject to change and can be withdrawn / amended at any time.

2. Taxi Rate

The promotion runs from 00.00 18th September - 11.59 on Friday 2nd April
You must be a My 糖心volg App customer to use this promotion. To avail of this promotion please submit a valid photograph of your PSV / SPSV licence using the form located on: /promotions 
 Only available on 糖心volg branded chargers and at participating locations only. Please use the My 糖心volg App to check the participation of charger promotion before starting your charging session.
The Taxi Rate will operate from 7.00am 鈥 9.59pm. Then the 糖心volg Night Rate runs from Promotion hours are 10pm - 7am.
Standard connection charges of 30p / 30c still apply.
Overstay Fee
To ensure everyone gets a chance to access this great promotion a 拢5 / 鈧5 overstay fee will occur after 4 hours and 拢5 / 鈧5 for each hour thereafter. 
All promotions are subject to change and can be withdrawn/amended at any time.

3. Home Charging Promotions 

All prices stated are based on a standard installation (being less than 10m from the fuse box to charger location). Should your installation be deemed 鈥渘on-standard鈥 additional fees will apply (as specified prior to installation).

A standard installation is as follows: 

  • 7.4kW Charger
  • 10m of cabling
  • 1x Isolator in ROI
  • 1x Equaliser in ROI
  • 2 wall breakthroughs
  • RCD/MCB and Surge protection

These promotions are Exclusive to 糖心volg.ie Ltd customers in Northern Ireland and 糖心volg Charging Limited in the Republic of Ireland.

All promotions are subject to change and can be withdrawn/amended at any time.

Refer a Friend Promotion 

The 糖心volg 鈥淩efer a Friend鈥 Home Charging Promotion allows existing customers to refer a friend for a 糖心volg home charger installation using their valid My 糖心volg App account number.

Both the referrer and the referred customer will receive 拢25 / 鈧25 free 糖心volg Network Credit credited to their respective My 糖心volg App accounts once the referred customer鈥檚 home charger has been successfully installed and commissioned.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • The referrer must provide a valid My 糖心volg App account number at the time of referral.
  • The referred customer must proceed with and complete a 糖心volg home charger installation.
  • Network credit will only be applied following successful installation and activation of the home charger.
  • Only one referral reward may be claimed per successful installation.

糖心volg reserves the right to amend or withdraw this promotion at any time without prior notice.

4. 糖心volg Wednesday 

Charge from 00.01am on Wednesday xx November to 11.59pm and receive the equal value back as a free credit on your account. 

Exclusively for  My 糖心volg App customers.

E.G. Spend 拢10 charging on Wednesday and get 拢10 free credit added to your account.

Only to be used on 糖心volg branded chargers. 

Promotion not valid on workplace chargers.

5. TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR THE SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF WEEV HOME CHARGING STATION

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY

1.         ABOUT THESE TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms & Conditions (the 鈥Terms鈥) set out the terms upon which 糖心volg (operated by 糖心volg.ie Ltd (in the United Kingdom) and 糖心volg Charging Limited (in the Republic of Ireland)) will supply and install electric vehicle home charging stations (each a 鈥Charging Station鈥) at your property.  If your property is located in the United Kingdom, your contract is with 糖心volg.ie Ltd. If your property is located in the Republic of Ireland, your contract is with 糖心volg Charging Limited."

a.         These Terms will also outline the order process, your right of cancellation and what to do if there is a problem with any products or services which you receive.

b.        These Terms apply to the supply and installation of Charging Stations at residential properties for consumer customers only. For details of the terms and conditions which apply to 糖心volg鈥檚 business customers, please contact 糖心volg at sales@weev.ie.

  1. CHARGING STATIONS AND INSTALLATION SERVICES
  2. Unless otherwise stated, all Charging Stations supplied by 糖心volg are supplied on an 鈥installed鈥 basis. This means that any order which you place with 糖心volg in accordance with paragraph 3 below (an 鈥Order鈥) will be an order for the supply of the Charging Station and installation of the same on a Standard Installation Service basis (the 鈥Installation Services鈥).
  3. ORDERS
  4. You must be at least 18 years old and resident in the UK or Ireland to place an Order for a Charging Station.
  5. To place an Order for a Charging Station, please complete this online form. We鈥檒l ask for details about your property. Please ensure these details are correct and complete as we鈥檒l use these details to determine the type of installation required and to prepare your quotation. Once we receive all the information we need about your property, we鈥檒l issue you with a quotation. This will include details of the model of Charging Station we recommend for your property.  Please review these details carefully to ensure they meet your requirements. Please note that any images we provide of the model of Charging Station we recommend for your property are for illustrative purposes only and your Charging Station may vary slightly from these images.
  6. All quotations issued by 糖心volg for the supply of Charging Stations are inclusive of the cost of Standard Installation Services (as described at paragraph 6 below) and delivery only. Where Additional Services (as described in paragraph 6 below) are required outside of a Standard Installation to perform the Installation Services, these shall be subject to agreement and may incur additional charges.
  7. The quotation issued by 糖心volg for the supply of the Charging Station will include details of how you may proceed to place an Order for that Charging Station. Quotations shall remain valid for 14 days. Thereafter, prices quoted may be subject to change. You are under no obligation to proceed with any quotation issued by 糖心volg.
  8. Should you choose to submit an Order for the Charging Station, your Order shall constitute an offer to purchase the Charging Station and Installation Services from 糖心volg and shall be subject to acceptance by 糖心volg. Your Order shall not be deemed to have been accepted by 糖心volg until you receive an order confirmation email from 糖心volg. Once your Order has been accepted by 糖心volg, a contract for the supply of the relevant Charging Station and the associated Installation Services, incorporating these Terms, shall come into place between you and 糖心volg (the 鈥Contract鈥).
  9. Acceptance of Orders by 糖心volg is subject always to availability and 糖心volg cannot guarantee that all products or services will be available at all times. Further, from time to time, 糖心volg may need to stop providing certain products or services for reasons outside of 糖心volg鈥檚 control (e.g. to comply with a change in law). If this happens, 糖心volg will contact you to let you know, cancel your Order and provide you with a full refund of any sums which you have paid.
  10. If the Order contains an error (e.g. if the price or the description of the Charging Station is incorrect), 糖心volg may cancel or amend your Order. If it cancels your Order, you will receive a full refund of any sums which you have paid.
  11. If you would like to make any changes to your Order after it has been submitted then please contact 糖心volg at support@weev.ie. Provided that the relevant Installation Services have not yet been provided, 糖心volg will endeavour to accommodate your change request; however, please note that additional charges may apply. 糖心volg will discuss and agree these with you prior to making any changes to your Order.
  12. PAYMENT

a.     The price of the Charging Station as set out in the quotation we send you includes the cost of the Charging Station, delivery of the same and the provision of Installation Services on a Standard Installation basis. Prices for Charging Stations and Installation Services are inclusive of VAT at the applicable rate.

b.     You must make full payment for your Charging Station when you place your Order. In certain circumstances 糖心volg may contact you directly to help you through the checkout process. Full payment must be received by 糖心volg before we will deliver and install your Charging Station.

c.     You must pay for your Order in the currency displayed in the relevant quotation which forms the basis of your Order. 糖心volg accept all major credit and debit cards. All credit and debit card payments need to be authorised by the relevant card issuer.

d.     糖心volg will take payment from your card upon submission of your Order, however a Contract will not be formed until you receive an Order confirmation email from 糖心volg as set out at paragraph 3.e. above.

  1. DELIVERY AND INSTALLATION

a.     Once you have received your confirmation email, 糖心volg will contact you, using the contact details which you submit with your Order, to agree a mutually convenient date for the provision of the Installation Services (the 鈥Installation Date鈥). Please note that the Installation Date is an estimate only. As a consumer, you are entitled to a statutory 14-day cooling-off period, commencing on the date of delivery of the Charging Station to you. Therefore, 糖心volg will require your express consent to provide Installation Services to you during this cooling-off period.  You acknowledge that if you request installation within the cooling-off period, you will lose the right to cancel the Installation Service element of the Contract once performance has begun.

b.     The Installation Date must be no later than 90 days after the date on which you enter into your Contract with 糖心volg. If it is not possible to agree an Installation Date within this time, 糖心volg reserves the right to increase the price applicable for the Charging Station, or to cancel the relevant Contract and refund you for any pre-paid sums.

c.     糖心volg may also request additional information regarding access and other arrangements at the property at which the Installation Services are to be provided. If you fail to provide this information to 糖心volg within a reasonable time of having been asked for it, or if you give 糖心volg incomplete or incorrect information, 糖心volg may either cancel its Contract with you or postpone or re-schedule performance of the Installation Services. 糖心volg will have no liability to you for late delivery of the Charging Station or any failure to provide the Installation Services to the extent that this is caused by your failure to provide 糖心volg with all the information which it reasonably requires deliver the Charging Station or provide the Installation Services. In such circumstances, 糖心volg may charge you an administration fee of 拢50.00 to reflect the reasonable costs incurred as a result of having to cancel or rearrange delivery of your Charging Station.

d.     Should you wish to reschedule your Installation Date, you must give 糖心volg at least 3 working days鈥 notice. If you reschedule your Installation Date with shorter notice, 糖心volg may charge you an additional administrative fee of 拢50.00 to reflect 糖心volg鈥檚 reasonable costs in rescheduling your Installation Date on such short notice. To reschedule your Installation Date, please contact 糖心volg at support@weev.ie.

e.     If 糖心volg is unable to provide the Installation Services on the Installation Date because no one is available at the property to meet the installer or 糖心volg otherwise cannot gain access, 糖心volg will contact you to rearrange your Installation Date. In such circumstances 糖心volg may charge you an additional administrative fee of 拢50.00 to reflect 糖心volg鈥檚 reasonable costs in rearranging your Installation Date. If, despite 糖心volg鈥檚 reasonable efforts, 糖心volg is unable to contact you or re-arrange access, 糖心volg may end the Contract and paragraph 10 will apply.

f.      If the provision of the Installation Services by 糖心volg is delayed, then 糖心volg will contact you as soon as possible to let you know and 糖心volg will take steps to minimise the effect of the delay. If there is a risk of substantial delay or if 糖心volg confirms that it is unable to provide the Installation Services to you, you may contact 糖心volg to end the Contract and receive a refund for any Orders you have paid for but not received. Provided 糖心volg contact you to notify you of the delay, 糖心volg will not be responsible for any losses you suffer because of the delay. Nothing in this paragraph 5.f. affects your statutory rights, and you retain the right to cancel the Contract as set out in paragraph 9.

g.     If the provision of the Installation Services by 糖心volg is delayed by an event outside 糖心volg鈥檚 reasonable control (for example, irregularities in the supply of electricity, severe weather, strike, pandemic or unpredictable traffic delays) then 糖心volg will contact you as soon as possible to let you know and take steps to minimise the effect of the delay. Provided 糖心volg contacts you to notify you of the delay, 糖心volg will not be responsible for any losses you suffer because of the delay. If there is a risk of substantial delay you may contact 糖心volg to end the Contract and receive a refund for any sums which you have paid.

  1. INSTALLATION SERVICES

a.     The price quoted for the Charging Station includes Installation Services provided on a Standard Installation basis. Standard Installation Services includes the following:

i)         Fitting of a Charging Station on a brick or plaster wall, or to another suitable permanent structure;

ii)        Up to 10 metres (32 feet) of cable;

iii)       Routing of the cable through one wall with a drilled hole of up to 300 mm (12 inches) thick, if this is needed;

iv)       The fitting and testing of electrical connections and protections required for the charger;

v)         An additional adequately sized consumer unit, if required; and

vi)        Installation of a Type B or C MCB and a Type A RCD, or equivalent RCBO in an adequate enclosure.

b.     If, upon attendance at your property, the installer reasonably believes that:

i)           the Installation Services required are outside of the scope of 糖心volg鈥檚 Standard Installation Service (e.g. because the information you have provided to 糖心volg as part of your Order was incorrect or because your existing wiring is inadequate or additional groundwork is required for the installation); or

ii)         the Installation Services will take longer than the maximum 3 hours allocated for Standard Installation Services,

then 糖心volg will notify you of such, including details of any additional services or works which may be required to safely perform the Installation Services (鈥Additional Services鈥).

c.     If 糖心volg is unable to provide the Installation Services because the information you have provided is incorrect, it may charge you an administration fee of 拢50.00 to reflect 糖心volg鈥檚 reasonable costs in cancelling and/or rearranging your Installation Services.

d.     In some circumstances it may be necessary for the Additional Services to be organised by you and provided by a third party. In such circumstances, you will be responsible for the cost of these Additional Services. Where Additional Services can be provided by or on behalf of 糖心volg, 糖心volg will provide you with an estimate of the additional charges (if any) which will apply to such Additional Services (鈥Additional Services Estimate鈥).

e.     You are not obliged to accept any Additional Services Estimate. However, if you chose not to proceed with any Additional Services (whether those to be provided by 糖心volg or arranged by you) and, as a result, 糖心volg is unable to perform the Installation Services, then 糖心volg may end the Contract with you and refund to you any sums already paid less an administration fee of 拢50.00 to reflect 糖心volg鈥檚 reasonable costs in cancelling your Installation Services.

f.      These Terms will apply to the performance of any Additional Services by or on behalf of 糖心volg.

g.     糖心volg works with a network of trusted third-party installers (鈥Partner Installers鈥). In some cases, 糖心volg may appoint a Partner Installer to carry out Installation Services on 糖心volg鈥檚 behalf. However, your Contract for the supply of the Charging Station and the performance of the Installation Services will at all times remain between you and 糖心volg (and not the Partner Installer) and subject to these Terms.

h.     糖心volg will endeavour to complete the Installation Services on your agreed installation date. If 糖心volg (or its Partner Installer) cannot complete the Installation Services on the first visit to your property, 糖心volg will endeavour to schedule the Installation Services to be resumed on the first available date that is suitable to both parties.

i.       In some circumstances, a local distribution network operator (DNO) may require additional works or checks to take place before the Installation Services can commence. Such situations are rare but, where they occur, they are outside 糖心volg鈥檚 control, and the Installation Services cannot be provided until such works or checks are completed and approved by the DNO.

j.       After the Charging Station has been installed, you are responsible for any loss or damage to it.

k.     Any additional work required to your Charging Station (e.g. to move it to a new location) will be subject to additional charges. All work to your Charging Station after installation has completed must be provided by 糖心volg or its Partner Installer.

l.       We recommend that you notify your home insurer about the installation of your Charging Station.  

  1. INSTALLATION ON-SITE REQUIREMENTS

a.     In order for 糖心volg (or its Partner Installer) to provide the Installation Services, the following conditions must be met:

i)          There must be clear access to the site;

ii)         The site must be safe and secure; and

iii)       An adult must be present at all times during the Installation Services. This person will be deemed to have your express authority to make decisions in respect of the placement of the Charging Station and the associated cabling.

b.     It is your responsibility to ensure that you have all necessary permissions (including permission from your local Council, if required) for the Installation Services to take place and for comply with such permissions.

  1. USE OF YOUR CHARGING STATION

a.     You are responsible for ensuring your Charging Station is used in accordance with the manufacturer鈥檚 instructions, additional  instructions given by 糖心volg and all applicable laws. If 糖心volg becomes aware that the Charging Station is being used in a way that contravenes these instructions or applicable laws, 糖心volg may take such action as it deems appropriate. This might include preventing further use of your Charging Station and disconnecting it or removing it from your property.

b.     糖心volg cannot guarantee that:

i)          Your Charging Station will be compatible with all vehicles; or

ii)         Your Charging Station will charge your vehicle in accordance with any timeframes indicated by your vehicle manufacturer.

c.     Your Charging Station is an electrical product with high voltage input and output. For safety and warranty purposes, any maintenance, repair, or modification to your Charging Station within the first 12 months after installation must be carried out exclusively by 糖心volg or a Partner Installer. After the initial 12-month period, any such work must only be performed by a qualified electrician who is appropriately certified to work on electric vehicle charging equipment. You must not:

i)          Tamper with or disassemble any part of your Charging Station (or its cabling);

ii)         Remove or tamper with the SIM card provided with your Charging Station, or use a SIM card not provided by us; or

iii)       Use your Charging Station if it is damaged or becomes defective in any way.

d.     For your safety, you must not use your Charging Station if it is damaged or defective in any way (for example, if there are visible cracks, exposed wires, unusual noises, or error messages).

  1. YOUR CANCELLATION RIGHTS

a.     You have the right to cancel your Contract without giving any reason, at any time before the Charging Station is delivered to you and within 14 days thereafter (your statutory 鈥Cooling-off Period鈥). To cancel the Contract, you should contact 糖心volg at support@weev.ie or by using the model cancellation form available upon request from support@weev.ie.

b.     Cancellation prior to Delivery of the Charging Station: If you choose to cancel your Contract more than 48 hours before the Charging Station has been delivered to you, then 糖心volg will refund to you any money that you have paid within 14 days of the date on which you informed 糖心volg of your decision to cancel. If you choose to cancel your Contract less than 48 hours before the Charging Station has been delivered to you, then we will charge you an administration fee of 拢50.00.

c.     Cancellation following delivery / installation of the Charging Station: If you choose to cancel your Contract after the Charging Station has been installed, you must allow 糖心volg to remove and collect the Charging Station from your property. Please contact support@weev.ie to arrange the removal. Under no circumstances should you attempt to remove the Charging Station yourself. If you cancel the Contract for any reason after the Charging Station has been dispatched or delivered to you but prior to its installation, then you must contact 糖心volg and arrange a time for collection of the same. Unless the Charging Station is faulty or has been misdescribed, you will be responsible for the costs of collection and, where required, removal of the Charging Station.

d.     糖心volg may also charge you for the reasonable costs and fees expenses which 糖心volg has incurred in supplying the Charging Station and, where relevant, performing the Installation Services prior to you cancellation of the Contract. If, with your consent, 糖心volg has provided Installation Services to you prior to the expiry of the Cooling Off Period, 糖心volg shall be entitled to charge you reasonable fees for the work done up to the date of your cancellation and the reduced value of the Charging Station. Please note that, if the Installation Services have been completed, the fees charged to you in accordance with this paragraph may amount to a significant proportion of the charges you have paid, as it is likely to be impossible for 糖心volg to re-install the Charging Station at another property.

e.     糖心volg will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial Order.

  1. WEEV鈥檚 CANCELLATION RIGHTS

a.     糖心volg may cancel your Contract by notice to you in writing if:

i)          you do not make any payment to 糖心volg when it is due and such payment remains outstanding 3 working days prior to the agreed date of installation of your Charging Station; or

ii)         糖心volg is unable to contact you for a period of 30 days following reasonable attempts to make contact; or

iii)       you do not, within a reasonable time of 糖心volg asking for it, provide 糖心volg with information that is necessary for it to deliver the Charging Station or perform the Installation Services, for example, instructions regarding access to your property.

b.     Where 糖心volg cancels the Contract in the situations set out at paragraph 10.a. 糖心volg will refund any charges you have paid in advance for Charging Stations and/or Installation Services which you have not received.

  1. YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG

a.     If there is a problem with your Charging Station or the Installation Services, please contact 糖心volg鈥檚 Customer Service Team at support@weev.ie as soon as reasonably possible to allow 糖心volg a reasonable opportunity to repair or fix any problems.

b.     糖心volg has a legal duty to supply Charging Stations that are: (i) as described on the 糖心volg Website; and (ii) in conformity with the Contract and your rights as a Consumer. Nothing in these Terms will affect your legal rights. 

c.     The Installation Services will be supplied with reasonable skill and care.

d.     糖心volg shall have no liability to you for any loss or damage to other electrical appliances, except  where such damage is caused by 糖心volg鈥檚 negligence, at your property arising as a result of performance of the Installation Services, e.g. from switching off power during the performance of the Installation or Services, or inadequate wiring at your property.

e.     Your Charging Station may also be supplied with a warranty provided by the manufacturer to cover defects in the Charging Station, depending on the relevant Charging Station and manufacturer in question. Any applicable manufacturer warranty documentation will be provided to you following installation of your Charging Station.

f.      If you use an installer other than 糖心volg or a Partner Installer to install, repair, move or otherwise interfere with the Charging Station, 糖心volg will not be responsible for any faulty works undertaken, or damage caused by them.

g.     In the absence of negligence or breach of duty by 糖心volg (or, where relevant, the Partner Installer), 糖心volg shall have no liability for any injury, loss or damages arising as a result of the Charging Station having been installed, repaired, moved or otherwise interfered with by any party which is not 糖心volg or a Partner Installer.

h.     You acknowledge that the power output of your Charging Station ultimately depends upon the capacity of your local power network. Network conditions vary continuously due to the nature of power generation and as a result of the local electrical load. Network Conditions are outside of 糖心volg鈥檚 control, therefore, 糖心volg shall have no liability as a result of any performance or availability issues arising as a result of conditions in your local power network.

  1. OUR LIABILITY TO YOU

a.     糖心volg is responsible for losses you suffer caused by 糖心volg breaking the Contract, unless the loss is:

i)               Unforeseeable: loss or damage is foreseeable if either it is obvious that it will happen or if, at the time the Contract was made, both 糖心volg and you knew it might happen.

ii)              Caused by a delaying event outside 糖心volg鈥檚 control: if 糖心volg have taken the steps set out in the paragraph 5.g., 糖心volg shall not be responsible for delays outside its control.

iii)            Avoidable: something you could have avoided by taking reasonable action, including following 糖心volg鈥檚 reasonable instructions. This includes but is not limited to your obligation to ensure your property is free from obstruction when the Installation Services are being provided and that adequate information regarding your property has been provided to 糖心volg when obtaining your quotation.

iv)            A business loss: if you use the Services for any commercial, business or trade purpose 糖心volg shall have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.

b.     糖心volg does not exclude or limit in any way its liability to you where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by 糖心volg鈥檚 negligence or the negligence of 糖心volg鈥檚 employees, agents or subcontractors; for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or for breach of your legal rights as summarised at paragraph 11.

c.     Subject to clause 11g 糖心volg鈥檚 total aggregate liability to you under this Contract shall not exceed 150% of the Price paid by you or 拢5,000 / 鈧5,000], whichever is lower."

d.     Except as set out in this paragraph 12, 糖心volg gives no warranties and makes no representations in relation to the Services, and all warranties and conditions whether express or implied by statute, common law or otherwise are excluded to the extent permitted by law.

  1. CHANGES TO THE SERVICES OR THESE TERMS
  2. From time to time, 糖心volg may make changes to these Terms to:

i)               reflect changes in law, regulation or industry code of practice;

ii)              reflect changes required by any local power network;

iii)            incorporate any changes to any third-party terms which are required by the relevant third party;

iv)            make minor technical adjustments and improvements e.g. to reflect changes to any operating processes.

b.    Where 糖心volg intend to make any other, more significant changes to these Terms then 糖心volg will notify you in advance and, in the case of any newly formed Contract which is impacted by the changes to the Terms, give you the opportunity to cancel the Contract before the changes come in effect. In such circumstances 糖心volg will refund to you any sums you have paid in advance.

  1. HOW WEEV MAY USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
  2. 糖心volg will use the personal information you provide to it in accordance with and for the reasons set out in 糖心volg鈥檚 Privacy Policy Privacy Policy | 糖心volg . It is important that you read this information.
  3. GENERAL TERMS
  4. You are not allowed to transfer your rights under these Terms to anyone without 糖心volg鈥檚 prior written consent. 糖心volg may transfer its rights under these Terms to another business without your consent, but 糖心volg will notify you of the transfer and make sure that your rights are not adversely affected as a result.
  5. If any provision of these Terms (or part of any provision) is or becomes illegal, invalid, or unenforceable, the legality, validity, and enforceability of any other provision of these Terms will not be affected.
  6. If you breach these Terms and 糖心volg takes no action, 糖心volg will still be entitled to use its rights and remedies in any other situation where you breach these Terms.
  7. You have no intellectual property rights in, or to, any Charging Station, Installation Service, or any other Intellectual Property Rights owned by 糖心volg or a third party, other than the right to use the same in accordance with these Terms.
  8. Promotional rates for the Charging Stations may from time to time be displayed on the 糖心volg website. All promotions are subject to change and can be withdrawn/amended at any time.
  9. DISPUTES
  10. Our Customer Service Team is available by contacting. They will do their best to resolve any problems you may have.
  11. Governing Law:

i. If you are resident in the United Kingdom: These Terms are governed by the laws of Northern Ireland.

ii. If you are resident in the Republic of Ireland: These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland.

  1. Jurisdiction:

i. If you are resident in the United Kingdom: You can bring legal proceedings in respect of the products or services in the courts of Northern Ireland. If you live in Scotland or England and Wales, you can bring legal proceedings in the courts of Scotland or England and Wales respectively.

ii. If you are resident in the Republic of Ireland: You can bring legal proceedings in respect of the products or services in the courts of Ireland.

  1. Mandatory Rights: Nothing in this paragraph 16 shall deprive you of the protection afforded to you by provisions that cannot be derogated from by agreement by virtue of the law of the country where you have your habitual residence.
